Some people learn about crystals by reading books.

I learned a little differently.

When I begin working with a new crystal, something unexpected sometimes happens. Occasionally, I become so deeply relaxed that I fall asleep while holding it. I don’t set out to nap—it simply seems to be part of how I connect with certain crystals.

While I’m asleep, it’s as though my conscious mind steps aside. Sometimes I experience unusual sensations, and when I wake, I often have a much deeper understanding of the crystal than I did before. The insights aren’t like reading a list of properties—they arrive as experience, intuition, and quiet knowing.

This doesn’t happen every time, and I wouldn’t expect it to happen for everyone. It’s simply one of the unique ways I’ve come to learn about crystals over the years.
