A Cautionary Tale About Moldavite

A Cautionary Tale About Moldavite

When I was living in New York City, there was a tiny crystal shop on the second floor of an old building that I visited whenever I had the chance. It was just one room, but every inch of it was packed with an incredible variety of crystals.

One day, I was chatting with the owner about moldavite. They told me that many creative people—actors, singers, performers, and artists—loved working with it because of its inspirational energy.

Then they smiled and added, "Just be careful. In my experience, moldavite can also amplify a person's ego."

I've never forgotten that.

Whether you agree or not, it certainly made me laugh. Maybe that's moldavite's way of asking, "Are you here to grow... or just to admire how enlightened you look while doing it?"

Like any good teacher, moldavite may inspire us—but it might also remind us to leave our ego at the door.
